As an American who has lived in Britain I have found the NHS in general to be pretty good. Its biggest failing to my mind seems to be that it has something of a runaway bureaucracy and spends too much money on administration as opposed to medicine but compared to the US’s disastrous and exploitative medical system the NHS is actually more user friendly. Try getting any attention in the US without insurance or money. Before I managed to get on Medicare it cost me over $800 to have a camera shoved up my nose for about 15 seconds for example.
