As usual your posts are extremely interesting. I will limit my comment to saying that whereas cities may create chaos they also create something else that human being crave, stimulus and vast and varied stimulus.

Finally, I would like to point out that although there are some 30 million + gods in India you do not have a specific god or goddess of Chaos unlike the Greeks, Romans, Germanic peoples or Celts. That struck me as very peculiar and a very strange omission after spending time in India and observing a great deal of Chaos.
