Great story Shirley. I don't understand parents who won't support their kids. A little over a year ago my son was attacked by his roommate with a knife. There was a lot of shouting, and the police were called. Both boys were arrested. I bailed my son immediately, but the other kid's parents left him in jail and then the psych ward at the jail for about six weeks. I can't understand that mentality. It sounds like your parents are of the same sort of mind set.
