I grew up in a teetotal family and discovered alcohol at the age of 15. My consumption patterns have varied over the years. For a long time, I generally did not drink on work nights only at the weekend. I understand where you are coming from in terms of drinking to relieve stress. I went through an extrajudicial exfiltration from Bahrain to Iraq a number of years ago, got sued for $9 billion dollars, lost a fortune and have increased the amount that I drink ever since.
