I had spent my senior year of High School at Abingdon School and loved it. I then went to the University of Maryland for a year, didn't like it and went back to England and spent three weeks sleeping on the floor of an Abingdon classmate's room at St. Edmund Hall and decided that I wanted to go there and walked into the tutor for admissions office and literally talked my way into the University. You couldn't do it today.
I had two years in the Florey building at the top of St. Clements and one in front quad so pretty good.
Which college did you attend?
I spent 27 years in the Middle East working for Arab owned businesses and specialized in Islamic Banking and Finance, so the degree actually came in handy.
