I haven't seen any racist comments myself but I was admonished for using a perfectly good English word that has a specific meaning that is a compound word derived from Latin one of which means across and the other means to dress. I did not use it in a disparaging manner but used it merely descriptively in a specific context where it was appropriate. I was told to remove it. I thought that this was taking a certain PC position to a somewhat absurd length.
