I know how you feel. I missed a fantastic opportunity that I'm still regretting.

About a dozen years ago I had a skiing trip to Park City Utah with six women. We were in a restaurant and some guy looked at us and said about me, " This guy really knows how to do it. He's got six women". It only occurred to me later that what I should have said was, "Yes, but I've only slept with three of them so that's the classic dilemma, is this glass half empty or half full"?
