I spent the vast majority of my career working for a Saudi Arabian merchant family. I had only one guy that I had to worry about. I can't relate to any of this corporate stuff. The only incentive we had was performance bonuses. I never did any performance reviews of my staff, and everything was pretty laissez faire. One of my Bahraini staff never came to work on time, smoked hashish in the office and generated tens of millions of dollars in business so I just let him get on with it and didn't interfere.
