I'm fully on board with this. My son is mentally ill and sometimes he's quite crazy and sometimes he's still quite brilliant but there is no way to sugar coat it.

I did some stand up in London a couple of years ago and was accosted after one set by a young woman who said that one of my jokes promoted rape.

It goes: If a diplomat says yes he means maybe. If a diplomat says maybe he means no. If a diplomat says no he's no diplomat.

If a lady says no she means maybe. If a lady says maybe she means yes. If a lady says yes, she's no lady.

I could only conclude that for this younger generation the social distinction that once existed between a woman and a 'lady' no longer exists and the levelling effects of modern society have erased this social construct. In another way of putting it, they have all moved on from Barbie to Bratz.
