I'm not sure what you're getting at here. If you take everyone in the entire sex the average number of partners must be exactly the same mathematically. People who have only one partner don't skew the overall results. My point is that it is not correct to assert that either men or women as a whole are more promiscuous. Some individuals may be but as a total population it must work out the same on both sides of the blanket.
