I’m not sure why anyone would assume that you’ll buy a house just because you’re now divorced. Divorce costs money and most divorcees have been screwed over by their exes so don’t have any.
As to Ashley Cole for God’s sake don’t even think about marrying him. Just shag him. Every divorced woman is entitled to one fee shag and he’s probably fit which is really the only thing that matters. You don’t even need to talk to him. In fact better not too because he’s doubtless less intelligent than you are and that will just ruin the experience if he says anything.
