It can happen. I remember one incident where I was with a young woman at a friend's house and she was sitting on the side of the bed and I was standing. She made a barely perceptible movement with her hand that indicated sit down. I did and we ended up having some sex. I later pointed out to her that she had initiated with that movement. She denied that she had made any movement. This is unfortunately typical particularly of younger women who can be in denial about their sexual desires and intentions.
