It was pretty brutal. It is a major problem with civil procedure in the US. Basically anyone with money can break anyone with no money. In my case there was an additional layer of absurdity. Anyone can sue any US national in a US court but because the alleged acts took place in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, the suit if it went to trial, in this case in California would have had to be heard under Bahraini or Saudi law in the US court!!!!

If you google Glenn Stewart Bahrain, you can see some articles about it all. I gave the New Yorker journalist a lot of great material which he didn't use and turned out to be in the pocket of the Algosaibis lawyers and did a bit of a hatchet job.
