Merton is one of the Colleges that I never had occasion to visit when I was at Oxford. I was an undergraduate at The Queen's College.

I attended the Liberal Democratic Party conference in Eastbourne in 1999. I never saw a bigger group of losers and no hopers assembled in one place in my life.
