The current state of affairs is an accurate representation of the fact that we are still a representative democracy inasmuch as it is a country run by morons for morons and we are reaping what we sow for the ultimate failure of those among us who could have prevented this situation by getting off their asses to have voted. There was an Iraqi proverb which applies to us that loosely translated means 'shit people deserve shit government.'
