The God of the Old Testament is weak and paranoid. He threw us out of the garden before we could eat from the second tree. If we ate from the second tree we would 'become like unto him' and he didn't want any rivals. In any case it's too late for him because we have managed to eat from that second tree through scientific rationalism and this useless God can just fuck off.
