This is pretty much on point. The Democrats are their own worst enemies in many ways. I have been appalled for years how they have managed to alienate the working classes. Trump's greatest strength is that he has a visceral and innate ability to tap into all the anger that is out there.

however, I am also appalled by how many people cannot see him for the colossal conman which he is. His lies and grifts are so transparent. He doesn't even try to hide the fact that he is the lowest kind of snake oil salesman.

Oh well, they say that people get the leadership they deserve.
