Very amusing. When I was at Oxford there was a well-known tramp that we called Karl Marx because he looked like him with the same shock of gray hair and beard. I was walking up St. Giles one day and saw Karl begging. A do-gooder student went into a shop, bought a sandwich and gave it to Karl Marx then proceeded up the street, clearly self-satisfied with his act of charity.

Karl stood there with the sandwich in his hand, staring at it as if were poison and stamped his feet and said, "I didn't want a fucking sandwich, I wanted a fucking shilling."
