When the Governor of Iraq, Hajjaj bin Yousuf's son turned three Hajjaj took him to his tutors and said, "Teach him to swim before you teach him to write".

The tutors said, "Why"?

Hajjaj said, "Because a man in his station in life will always be able to find someone to write for him but will never be able to find someone to swim for him"!
